    Belldandy is a princess of Heaven. She is the main female role in the Oh! My Goddess series. She is extremely kind and can read people’s emotions quite easily due to this. She would literally do anything for Keiichi and thinks the world of him.

    She has an affinity for air and it is a major source to a lot of her spells. Her spells include summoning tornadoes, alter weather, and creating strong winds. She is able to cast her spells through singing and can even restore life to devastated places.

    Angel: Holybell

    Each goddess has an angel counterpart. Belldandy’s is called Holybell. Wind is their elemental attribute. Holybell augments Belldandy’s powers when called on and will reflect what Belldandy’s state is as well.

    Ah/Oh! My Goddess

    Kosuke Fujishima wrote and illustrated the Oh! My Goddess manga series. From September 1988, the series began serialization in the Afternoon magazine. It ended the final chapter on July 23, 2014, with a total of 48 volumes. The series was adapted into and OVA by AIC and a series which ran from 2005 to 2006. There hae been many animated movies, video games, spinoff series, light novels, and much more.

    The series follows Keiichi Morisato who is a sophomore in college. He accidentally dials the Goddess hot-line and Belldandy appears. She is there to grant him one wish and he jokingly says for her to stay with him forever. Now anytime anything is threatening them, a force will negatively effect the person coming between them. They end up living in a Buddhist temple and Belldandy’s sisters, Urd and Skuld, move in as well. Along the way they encounter many gods, demons, other Goddesses, and other supernatural creatures.
