    Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undressed

(Warning this review may contain slight spoiler)
    Akiba's Trip Undead and Undressed

Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undressed is a video game made for Playstation’s game stations. It was made for the playstation 3, Playstation 4, and for the playstation Vita. I came into contact with this game while I was shopping for a new game for Playstation Vita and I came across this game. It is rated M for mature and after playing some of this game I can understand why.

Gameplay of Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undressed

    Akiba's Trip Undead and Undressed
In this game you play as an Otaku boy who wakes up in a strange place and there seem to be strange people watching him. He finds out that when he signed this contract for more Otaku Merchandise he also signed away his rights to not be experimented on.  He soon finds out that he is no longer human but something known as a synthesizer which is almost like a human created vampire. They can only go out into the sunlight with clothing on or else they will burn up and die. You are soon rescued by a beautiful girl with silver hair who tells you that the company that tricked you is the reason that people are going missing on the streets. He decides that he does not want to turn into another mindless zombie like everyone else and that he will instead fight these are synthesizers and try to keep the piece of humanity left. He must go around and try and strip the clothes off of other Synthesizers which is not easy when they know that they if you succeed in stripping them they will die.

Battle System of Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undressed

    Akiba's Trip Undead and Undressed
The game fighting is different than others games. You get weapons in which you can upgrade to make more powerful. In this game you must weaken an enemies armor so that you can rip there armor off. You can also force their clothes off by trying your hardest to pull their clothes off in time before they can repel you off. You can also learn new combos in which you can rip the enemy’s clothes off in more exciting ways.  In this game you can go against one enemy at a time or fight a giant mob of them all at once. You can even weaken many enemies’ armor and do a combination strip in which you can rip off many pieces of clothes all at once. Some problems in the game is the fact that you also wear armor that enemy can rip off and if they can rip all of your clothes off then you will die. They however cannot use combinations to rip off more than one item of clothing at a time.

Overall Thoughts on of Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undressed

    Akiba's Trip Undead and Undressed
This game is a lot of fun even though it shows moments where a girl and or man will only be in their underwear. It is still a lot of fun and I would give Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undressed 3.5 stars out of 5. Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undressed also received 4 out of 5 stars on gamefaqs and Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undressed got 65 out of 100 on metacritc. It was also award of #6 highest rated Playstation Vita game on gamefaqs.com

  • Fossil Fighter (Video Game) Review

    Fossil Fighters Video Game Review

     Fossil Fighter Fossil Fighter 2

(Warning this review may contain slight spoilers)

Now before I began the actual review I would like to tell you something about my past, as a child I loved going to the museum all the time and my favorite exhibit there was the dinosaur exhibit. This also made me want to be an archeologist because there world always fascinated me. This game was amazing for because it made feel as close to being an archeologist that I will ever experience in my lifetime. This not only let you feel like being able being an archeologist but also showed a world in which dinosaur not only were able to come back to life but people are able to control these dinosaurs in fights.
Fossil Fighter is for the Nintendo DS, so it has no need to be saved onto a memory card because all the data is saved onto its little card. This game is available to buy at GameStop as well as any other gaming store. This game is a lot like the DS Game Spectrobes with a few changes. In this game you go out into different worlds to find fossils and then you bring these fossils back to life and you use these fossils to fight. The fighting system is somewhat like Pokémon where you can use certain moves but unlike Pokémon you get so many points you can use and you can use every one of the dinosaur on your team so long as you have the points to power up there attack.

    Plot of Fossil Fighter

    revival
This game is about a young boy who leaves his home town to go be a fossil fighter. He first must talk to the captain about what his favorite kind of dinosaur is, and then he has to talk to the professor about becoming a fossil fighter. There are different areas that you can go in but you must be on the right level of fossil fighter. You go through a test to go up another level, first you have to take a cleaning test where you must get a certain amount of points to pass then you have to go into a battle against an npc fighter. There further you go along the stronger the npc is.

    Fossils of Fossil Fighter

    Medals
I will now be going into more detail on the different things you can do in Fossil Fighter. The first part I will go into detail is the fossil finding.  You basically go into different areas of this remote island. You are given a pickaxe to dig and radar to see things under the ground. This radar however cannot tell the difference between a few things. One thing is that it cannot tell whether it is a new or fossil that you already have or a normal rock that isn’t worth anything or a jewel fossil that you can clean and sell for money. This makes it a real luck whether you get something you want or just a stupid rock that you just place back into the ground. You can only hold so many fossils in your bag too. So if you go out looking for fossils then you will probably fill your bag with the same fossil you already have, of course you can empty your bag but wouldn’t it be terrible looking all around for a new fossil and not finding a single new one.
In this paragraph I will be talking about the cleaning process. When you want to bring a fossil back to life you have to clean it off and try to get as many points up so that your dinosaur will be stronger. You get a x-ray machine so you can the shape of the fossil. Then there is a hammer to smash away large parts of the rock that you have no use for but it also can damage your fossil if you don’t use it well. Then there is your drill which isn’t nearly as powerful as the hammer but is very good for getting rid of small pieces of rubble. The last cool feature of this game is the fact that you can blow into your microphone to get rid of the little pieces of chipped rock so that you can see the fossil better. This is gives the whole cleaning processes a slightly more realistic feel to it because you are physically moving the rubble.

The Battle System of Fossil Fighter

    fight
The next part I will talk about is the battle system of Fossil Fighter. You can have a total of three dinosaurs on your team. You can have two on the side of your team as back up fighters and one in the front who will take the most damage. You are given points every turn, you get about 100 points in the beginning. Then you use these points in each attack you use. Every dinosaur whether in the front or on the sides can attack, the more points you save you can use to use a massively strong attack that can probably kill a dinosaur but you must save a lot of points up while your opponent attacks you.  You must use the points you get wisely so that you can make the turn really count.

    Playing Fossil Fighter

    cleaning
The graphics in Fossil Fighter are not bad but they are also not amazing but what can you expect for a game that does not use any kind of external memory card. This game is tons of fun whether you want to hurry through the story to beat it or you want to collect your dinosaurs together and get all the dinosaurs and all the parts for all the dinosaurs. This game is a game that is worth checking out even if you don’t usually play games like this.

Fossil Fighter was given a score of 8.6 on the GameStop.com by other people who have played the game. It was also given a score of 4.11 on gamefaqs.com and a score of 70 on metacritc.com. This game has gotten a good score on all gaming websites that I follow. It was also given the title of 54th highest role-play game for DS. I give this game a 4.5 stars out of 5 for its fun experience as you must try and be a great fossil fighter

Overview of Toukiden: the Age of Demons

    Toukiden: the Age of Demons

The game takes place in Old Age Japan, where the country is now being attacked by Oni, and you play as a new Slayer that has joined the cause to fight back the demons, and save all of Japan.

Characters of Toukiden: the Age of Demons

    Toukiden: the Age of Demons

New Slayer: IT’s YOU, you play as a new slayer which is customizable to fit your type of fighting style from a katana to bows. You are to be the one to rise from the bottom to be the best Slayer and protect Japan.

Oka: A female slayer with a unmatched skill with her katana and a great leader, her weakness being that she is scared of spiders >_<

Yamato: leader of Utakata Village who commands the Slayers, he has retired from fighting but was known as a famous slayer during his younger days.

Hatsuho: skilled with a chain and sickle, and claims she is the oldest of all the slayers and acts  old than her age.

Hayatori: a detached amd professional skilled with his knives, not much is known about this Slayer.

Nagi: A scholar skilled in medicine as a physician and with a bow with unmatched accuracy.

Ibuki: spear master who considers himself a free spirited person, but is actually quite seriouds and wants to ensure that all his friends make it home everyday.

Gameplay of Toukiden: the Age of Demons

    Toukiden: the Age of Demons

The game plays like a free map roaming hack and slash game, it focuses a lot on loot, materials, and on equipment, all of which determine your stats and how strong you are along with your Mitama, which can give you a special advantage in battle. The game flows smoothly, no lag when play single-player, lag on multi-player depends on other people’s wifi signals. Graphics look good but could be better. You mostly find yourself fighting the same enemies over and over.

Experience of Toukiden: the Age of Demons

    Toukiden: the Age of Demons

I played 11 hrs and 35 mins, I feel that a lot was missed out on this game and could be more than what it is, could have better graphics, not focus on equipment so much and could have gave more variety of enemies.

    Overview of Persona 4 Golden

    01-persona-4-the-golden-2

In a small town named Inaba, you play as “Insert your Hero name” or as many know him as Yu Narukami. Recently after Yu comes to Inaba due to his parents’ work, must stay with his uncle for a year, as murders begin to happen. At the same time, a rumor travels about Inaba, where at midnight if you watch the tv while it was turned off the [Midnight Channel] would show your soul mate. Due to this rumor, Yu goes to experience the Midnight Channel, him being partly sucked into his tv, is now about to enter the tv, and meets Teddie along with Chie and Yosuke accompanying you. During their time there, Yu is now able to manifest a Persona known as Izanagi. With his new found abilities, you must discover what the other side of the world hides.

    Characters of Persona 4 Golden

    Persona 4 Golden
    Characters

Hero (Yu Narukami or whatever name you want to be called): Now living in Inaba for a year, he is a second year student at Yasogami High School, after his first few days in Inaba, he gains the ability to manifest a Persona. Hero is developed through how you play the game and by the bonds you make as well. Some events need certain development to see these events.

Yosuke: Second in Command of the Investigation team with Yu as the leader. Hiding that he is tired of Inaba and wants to be in the big city, his your jokester and fun kind of person, with a lot of bad luck that comes his way.

Chie: This girl loves MEAT, I know that obviously most of you think of that in a perverted way, but she literally loves to eat meat. She’s the athletic girl with a powerful kick but still looks great after eating. She is friends with Yosuke and Yukiko in the beginning and later joins the Investigation team.

Yukiko: The next generation owner of the Amagi Inn, she is a traditional Japanese girl with a odd sense of humor. She may be traditional but her cooking will knock you out (literally). After facing with her want of being free of the Amagi Inn, she becomes a great asset  to the team.

Teddie: Being found in the tv world, not much is known about Teddie, except that he has lived in the tv world for a long time. He takes notice of people being thrown into the tv and appearing on the other side. After being bullied alittle by Yu and Yosuke, he joins as a analyzer for the time.

Kanji: The Reckless Beefcake known as Kanji, is seen as a biker and a hooligan. But what you truly find will amaze you. After dealing with his other self, he will join as the second melee oriented character in the game.

Rise: Known by the world (In game), as Risette, she leaves the music business and is replaced with another Idol. Now living in Inaba, she must deal with being a victim in the recent murders. Question is if “Yu” can save her.

Naoto: Known as the Detective Prince, Naoto is very suspicious of this case like going into danger that will cost the detective’s life. One of the greatest assets to the Team.

Nanako: Daughter of Dojima, and calls Yu, Big Bro. She is a lonely child at home, and grown mature due to the loss of her mother.

Dojima: the Uncle that you will stay with for a year. He works as a detective for the Inaba Police Department, which can help in your future endeavors.

    Gameplay of Persona 4 Golden

    Persona 4 Golden
    Game Play

The game works great, loading times don’t take long, combat looks great since it is all 3D. I would compare the combat to Pokemon but a much more tactical and a lot of interactive version of it. You are able to give your teammates orders during battle to do specific things. The game in the city is 3D as well, allowing you to run through Inaba and visiting nearby places.

This game focuses on choices will can change how people think of you, how they feel about you, and alter your ending. There being about 5+ endings. The drawing of the character faces show how well the game has been worked on and their moods.

There are some mini games including fishing and bug catching.

    Experience of Persona 4 Golden

    Persona 4 Golden

I’ve played a total of 209 hours and 22 mins of this game, completing the game about 5 times with different endings. The game is a great narrative and one of the ones that make you think of how people are different and how strong your bond with people can be. Combat is really fun once you start playing and continue to play. I’ve also cried several times in some scenes that you should experience your self. Also once you meet everyone on the Team, you’ll start to think that their actually friends, that’s how great this game is, making it one of the best rated games for the Vita  on IGN and other game review sites.

    Score Rating

The game is my honest favorite for the Vita, with me giving a 10/10
    Pros
-Deep Story with alternate endings based on how you play and interact.^^
    -Great 3D combat^^
    -Replayable for many times^^
-Deep back story for all of the character bonds available^^
    Cons
-Same looking enemies but with different abilities and some appearance changes.

“**” is for main concerns of the game that may cause you to play the game longer than you intended to or something people might not like.
“^^” is for great features of the game.

  • Final Fantasy: All the Bravest (Video Game) Review

Final Fantasy: All the Bravest App Review

    Final Fantasy: All the Bravest

The Purpose of Final Fantasy: All the Bravest:

The game Final Fantasy: All the Bravest takes a back seat with CG features. Final Fantasy: ATB has no story line or meaning to the game what so ever. The characters never develop as well. The point of Final Fantasy: ATB is to fight. The player goes from stage to stage fighting monsters and bosses from other Final Fantasy games. Some of the levels resemble that of other Final Fantasy games as well. The players gain experience and earn gil. Although there is no reason for the gil due to the fact that there are no gil-based shops in the game.

The Battle System  of Final Fantasy: All the Bravest:

    Final Fantasy: All the Bravest

The battle system in Final Fantasy: ATB is also laughable. It is nothing like the original Final Fantasy games. The player does not have the choice in which enemy they hit or which move they make. There is no order to the party at all and free to attack when their bar is filled. With the experience you gain, you can open up new party slots for your battle team. This will eventually create a huge party on the screen making things quite chaotic. In Final Fantasy: ATB you also gain weapons from battles as well.

The Cost of Final Fantasy: All the Bravest:

The cost for this game is $3.99 for which you can buy for your iPad, iPod, or iPhone. They also take even more of your money by enticing you to buy characters from previous Final Fantasy games. They cost a dollar each and can add up to 35 new players. They come with their own powerful moves as well. Like the battle system, you don’t have a choice here either. It randomly picks you a premium character! Yes, randomly. They allow you to also purchase new levels of worlds to conquer.

    Final Fantasy: All the Bravest

The point of Final Fantasy: ATB is not for the fans, but the money. There are battles in here in which you need to purchase a regeneration hour glass making your characters regenerate quicker in battle so you can defeat the boss easier. If you don’t purchase them, then you will never win the battle it seems. Final Fantasy: ATB was made to get hard earned money out of Final Fantasy fans. While the nostalgia in Final Fantasy: ATB sounds awesome, it really is not worth the money.

    Grade: 3/10
